The Gift of Vein Treatment
We all know what time it is! The Holidays are here. So often we get caught up in giving to others and we forget about ourselves. This holiday season do something for you and give yourself the gift of vein treatment! Here at the Alpha Vein Clinic Las Vegas we can get you in and on the road to recovery. In as little as one appointment, we can figure out the cause of your leg issues and get you a treatment plan to fit your needs. Venous Reflux is a progressive condition and if you don’t seek treatment it can get worse.
Venous Reflux Treatment:
The Alpha Vein Clinic offers specialized treatments for leg vein conditions, such as varicose veins, spider veins, venous reflux, lymphedema and cellulitis. Dr. Sassan Kaveh is trained in venous disease treatments, with extensive knowledge on the diagnosis, and other related conditions, including deep vein thrombosis, lymphedema, thrombophilia, lipodermosclerosis, scarring and wound care. Venous reflux can make deep infection, which is for the most part missed by the dermatologists! Some patients would be put on antibiotics for a year with no progression. That’s because the underlying problem had not been treated!
At the Alpha Vein Clinic Las Vegas, we treat the root cause of your symptoms, which means sealing off veins with unhealthy valves. There are a few recommended procedures that are designed to go beyond the surface, treat the underlying cause, and focus on overall health. Treatment options include venous ablation with Radio Frequency, Clarivein or Venaseal. The specifics of each spider vein or varicose vein treatment differs according to each patients specific situation, but our vein clinic works directly with each patient to design a customized plan to get people back on their feet sooner and have a better all around quality of life.
What to Expect when visiting a vein clinic:
- Consultation and Evaluation – to evaluate the signs and symptoms of a potential candidate. Dr. Sassan Kaveh being an experienced internist can discuss different potential diagnosis, pathophysiology and treatment options, even if the problem is not vein related.
- Venous Ultrasound of the legs – to confirm the diagnosis and to identify the specific veins involved.
- Venefit Endovenous (RF) Ablation or ClariVein Ablation or Venaseal – to treat the (CVI) with a team approach using ultrasound guidance.
- Utilizing Pressure Stockings – for two weeks post procedure to optimize healing process. (Venaseal dose not need Pressure Stockings)
- Serial Venous Ultrasounds – to monitor the progression of the recovery and to watch for potential complications.
Clinical results indicate that these procedures can be effective at closing the vein and significantly reducing patient symptoms.
The (RF) Ablation procedure has proven to be highly effective, with 87% of veins treated remaining closed at 5 years. MOCA technique would be equally good. These procedures are highly effective. In our experience, there is rarely any recurrence of venous reflux or any of the symptoms in the treated veins. The newest technique is called Venaseal and is so convenient for the patients, since it doesn’t need the Pressure Stockings to be worn after the procedure.
Almost all procedures done at our office are covered by insurance. If your leg veins are a medical condition meaning that you have leg pain, swelling, burning and itching then it will be covered by health insurance.
