The New SPLENDOR X Laser Hair Removal
What makes our Laser Hair Removal special?
Hair removal can be painful, messy, and ineffective. But SPLENDOR X laser hair removal with BLEND X technology is different. It combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths for a perfectly tailored treatment that is fast, effective, and comfortable. It also features a unique square-shaped laser spot that safely covers every single inch of skin being treated. Ideal for all skin types, even tanned skin.
- Sessions are faster and fewer
- With less pain and discomfort
- Long lasting results
Is it right for me?
SPLENDOR X is generally suitable for all skin tones – even tanned skin – and for all body areas and types of hair. However, laser hair removal may not be right for everyone and does carry some risks. SPLENDOR X isn’t suitable if you have an active infection or inflammation; viral, fungal, or bacterial disease; active cold sore; or open wound or abrasion in the area you want to treat. Risks may include changes to skin pigmentation and texture. However here at Alpha Medical Aesthetics, our physician Dr. Sassan Kaveh would consult with you prior to any treatment to make sure that you are a good candidate for that procedure.
When will I see the results?
Thanks to BLEND X technology, you should need fewer sessions than with a treatment using just a single laser wavelength. It blends two laser wavelengths to harness their power and unique properties – and achieve better results. Also, a single laser may not be suitable for everyone. Lasers are effective when hair is at an early growth stage. Because not all hairs will be at the same stage at the same time, you’ll need multiple treatments to permanently remove the unwanted hair. Dr. Kaveh will advise you on the
number of treatments required.
What can I expect after treatment?
How the area will look right after treatment varies from person to person. You may have some redness and swelling around
hair follicles straight after. In the following weeks, you will notice less hair growth as you progress through the course of your treatments. We will give you aftercare guidelines, especially pertaining to sun protection.
How does it work?
Laser hair removal uses a laser light energy with a specific wavelength. During treatment, lasers emit energy in the form of
light onto the skin. The melanin in the hair absorbs this energy and converts it into heat which then destroys the hair follicles to
prevent or stop future growth. BLEND X technology harnesses the power of two wavelengths for greater effectiveness for hair-free skin.
What does this mean for you?
The 755nm wavelength is great at treating lighter skin, and the 106nm is great for darker skin, but it’s not one size fits all. Blending these wavelengths together in the correct amounts for your skin type provides a perfectly customized treatment.
A large square shaped spot size helps to line up the treatment areas on your body. You do not have to worry about spots missed this way. And the Dual Cooling System (DCS) combines cooled air and a cooled tip to protect your skin and ensure a very comfortable treatment.
This technology can also be used to treat vascular and pigmented lesions as well as rejuvenate skin with no down time.
