OUR VEIN CLINIC IN LAS VEGAS EXPLORES THE BEST VEIN TREATMENT!

With technology always improving it seems every year there is a new vein treatment! For this reason, pursuing a vein doctor or vein clinic may become hard. So today we can look at a few different vein treatments and see what the differences are. So it can be helpful to people who have not been well informed or informed at all about vein treatment.

ClariVein:

The ClariVein catheter is a tube that is inserted into a vein through a pin-sized puncture in your skin. The tip of the catheter has a wire that very quickly rotates to coat the lining of the vein with a special medication. The spinning action of the wire helps the medication absorb and work more effectively. The procedure takes around 15-20 minutes and can be done in office here at the Alpha Vein Clinic Las Vegas.

The combination of damage done to the inner vein wall by the spinning wire and the medication causes the vein to close off and shut down. When this happens, your blood flows to nearby, healthier veins instead. This type of procedure is known as Mechanical Occlusion Chemically Assisted (MOCA).

Several studies have found that use of ClariVein is safe and effective, but it is unclear if the treated veins will remain closed permanently.

What are the benefits of ClariVein?

Vein treatment with ClariVein has several advantages:

  • High safety and effectiveness
  • Less pain, discomfort and bruising compared to other techniques
  • Low risk of thermal (heat) damage
  • Low risk of damage to surrounding nerves or skin, since there is no heat involved.
  • Fast  recovery time

Unlike Laser ablation or Radio Frequency Ablation that uses laser or radiofrequency energy, ClariVein doesn’t require the use of heat to close the vein, which means that there is less risk of damage to the skin and nerves. We have had a lot of success with the clariVein procedure and now are able to also offer the wonderful and new VenaSeal vein treatment here at the Alpha Vein Clinic as well!

VenaSeal:

When performing the VenaSeal procedure, Dr. Sassan Kaveh at the Alpha Vein Clinic will first take an ultrasound of the area around your varicose veins in order to see all of your damaged veins. The ultrasound allows Dr. Kaveh to find and map out all of your damaged veins for treatment as not all varicose veins are visible through the skin.

After getting a good look at your veins, you’ll be administered a local anesthetic that will numb the area to be treated. Once numb, He will insert a catheter into your damaged veins. The catheter is used to inject specially designed glue that will seal damaged veins in order to prevent blood from flowing through those veins in the future. By emptying the damaged veins of blood and preventing future blood flow through damaged veins, varicose veins should disappear. No more ugly, unwanted varicose veins.

Advantages of VenaSeal:

VenaSeal has advantages over other varicose vein treatments. A single VenaSeal treatment may be effective in stopping varicose veins; other treatment types require multiple treatments before veins disappear completely. VenaSeal does not require patients to wear compression stockings after the treatment is performed. VenaSeal does not require the use of heat, large surgical incisions, or anesthesia, so recovery from the procedure is typically pretty quick and painless.
